POCO is preparing to launch its new POCO X8 Pro Series in India. The series will include two smartphones – POCO X8 Pro and POCO X8 Pro Max. Both devices are designed to deliver powerful performance, large batteries, and advanced camera features.
The POCO X8 Pro Series launch is scheduled for 17 March, and the smartphones are expected to go on sale shortly after the official announcement.
POCO X8 Pro: Performance and Features
The POCO X8 Pro will be powered by India’s first MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor, offering high-end performance for gaming and multitasking. The device is expected to deliver a 120 FPS gaming experience and achieve a 2.3 million+ AnTuTu score.
The smartphone will feature a 6500mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. It will also include 27W reverse charging, allowing users to charge other devices.
In terms of camera, the phone will include a 50MP primary camera with Sony IMX882 sensor along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree field of view. The rear camera module will also include RGB Dynamic Light and dual flash lights.
The device is expected to come with a large display above 6.5 inches and will offer IP66, IP68, and IP69 water and dust resistance, making it highly durable.
POCO X8 Pro Max: Flagship-Level Power
The POCO X8 Pro Max will be the more powerful model in the lineup. It will feature India’s first MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor, built on a 3nm process node for improved performance and efficiency.
This smartphone is expected to achieve a 3.1 million+ AnTuTu score and support 120 FPS gaming, making it ideal for heavy users and mobile gamers.
The device will feature a 1.5K resolution display above 6.5 inches, offering sharp visuals and an immersive viewing experience.
Battery is one of its biggest highlights, as the phone will include a massive 9000mAh battery with 100W fast charging and 27W reverse charging support.
For photography, the device will feature a 50MP primary camera with Light Fusion 600 sensor along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera. Similar to the Pro model, it will also feature RGB Dynamic Light and dual flash lights.
